Companion for Valheim (valheim.gamevault.in)

1. What this site is, today

Companion for Valheim is a reference wiki plus an interactive seed map. The wiki pages (items, creatures, building pieces, biomes, skills, events and traders) are static pages generated from the game's own data - they are plain content with no login, and they collect nothing from you. The seed map at valheim.gamevault.in/map.html computes your Valheim world's biomes, terrain, and points of interest entirely in your browser from the world seed you type in. The seed and the computed map never leave your device - there is no server component, no account, and no upload of anything you enter.

2. Information we collect

None, directly. This site does not use cookies, does not run analytics, and does not include advertising at this stage. Your web host (currently a static file host) may log standard web server access logs (IP address, requested URL, timestamp, user agent) as part of normal operation - we do not use these for tracking or profiling.

3. Local storage

The seed you enter is written to the page URL (?seed=...) so you can bookmark or share a link back to the same world - this stays in your browser's address bar and history, not on any server.

4. Third-party services

This site loads its display fonts (Cinzel and Inter) from Google Fonts, so your browser requests those font files from Google's servers and Google may log that request (including your IP address) as part of serving them. That is the only third-party request the site makes. Item and building icons are served from this same site (valheim.gamevault.in), not a third party. The site embeds no advertising or analytics SDKs and uses no third-party tracking scripts.

5. Children's privacy

This site does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children.

6. Planned additions (not live yet)

Per the family standard, this site is expected to eventually add: Google Analytics (site usage), AdSense (display ads on the free web tools), and links out to the Companion for Valheim mobile app (which will have its own, separate privacy policy covering account data, ad SDKs, and purchase/entitlement state). When any of those ship, this page will be updated to name the specific SDKs, the data each collects, and how to opt out, before that SDK goes live - not after.
